Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives
- Lead research and adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech integration, AI ethics)
- Drive innovation through incubation of future-focused projects and startup partnerships
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of futuristic initiatives
- Mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technology architects
- Represent company at global tech conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or spatial computing
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
