Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026+ technology roadmap aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead innovation workshops identifying disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum, and biotech
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions (AR/VR, autonomous systems, etc.)
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic pivots
- Secure $5M+ in innovation funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech (AI/quantum/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 disruptive products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Published author or frequent speaker at tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (Python, Tableau, TensorFlow)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
