Responsibilities
- Lead technology horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026-2030 innovation cycles
- Develop and maintain the company's future technology roadmap with 18-month lead time
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and product teams
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen technologies (quantum computing, AGI, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech evaluation (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and technology roadmapping frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Experience scaling technology initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner)
