Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate emerging technologies into core business strategy
- Manage $10M+ innovation budgets across AI, AR/VR, and biotech verticals
- Present strategic recommendations to Fortune 500 clients and industry consortiums
- Build and lead a global team of 20+ researchers and engineers
- Drive patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy for emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies (quantum/AI/metaverse)
- Proven track record of scaling tech teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Published research in Nature, IEEE, or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Experience securing $50M+ in venture capital or government grants
- Deep expertise in Web3, generative AI, and spatial computing ecosystems
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent innovation impact)
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese for global stakeholder engagement
