As a key member of our R&D division, you'll shape our 5-year technology roadmap, anticipate disruptive trends, and pioneer solutions in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech. You'll work alongside industry pioneers in our state-of-the-art San Francisco hub, where your ideas will directly impact how businesses and societies evolve in the coming decade.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Manage innovation lab budget and resource allocation for future tech projects
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts to market-ready solutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends (patents/articles)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in ethical tech frameworks and sustainability principles
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
