Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging sectors including quantum-safe communications and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-viable solutions in AR/VR and climate tech
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on breakthrough technologies (nanotech, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, defense)
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven experience developing 5+ year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AI ethics
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable tech innovation with measurable market impact
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for defense-contract projects
- Certification in Technology Foresight (TF) or Strategic Innovation Management
