Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop 3-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions
- Curate 'Future Labs' - quarterly workshops for scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Future Studies
- Published work on emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation projects
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
- Proven ability to translate complex concepts into executable strategies
- Certification in Innovation Management or Futures Research preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational innovation
