Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping disruptive solutions (quantum/AI/IoT)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech disruptions
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants for future-focused projects
- Mentor junior strategists in futurist methodologies
- Present to Fortune 500 clients on tech transformation strategies
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning or innovation management
- Proven experience with quantum computing or AI ethics frameworks
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futuristics
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., ACFS, APF)
- Portfolio of implemented future-tech initiatives
- Expertise in ESG tech integration and sustainable innovation
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
