Responsibilities
- Architect and prototype next-gen systems using emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruptions and propose mitigation strategies
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic capabilities into commercial products
- Research and evaluate breakthrough technologies with commercial potential by 2026
- Develop ethical frameworks for responsible technology deployment
- Mentor junior architects and foster a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology architecture with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, neuromorphic systems, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of delivering complex, future-focused technology projects
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong understanding of technological convergence trends and their business implications
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
