Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype scalable solutions for 2026 market demands
- Collaborate with C-suite to align technology strategy with business objectives and investor expectations
- Identify and secure partnerships with academic institutions and government tech initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats and opportunities in decentralized systems and neurotech
- Present strategic recommendations to boards and stakeholders with compelling data visualizations
- Manage patent portfolios and IP strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling experimental technologies to commercial viability
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI safety
- Published research or patents in future technology ecosystems
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams and managing R&D budgets >$5M
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, international bodies)
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
