Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields: generative AI, quantum-resistant cryptography, and climate tech
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on next-gen prototyping and validation
- Drive strategic partnerships with NASA, IBM Quantum, and sustainable energy pioneers
- Present future technology forecasts to C-suite and venture capital stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in agile development for rapid prototyping cycles
- Secure patents and intellectual property for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable technology
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong network with academic institutions and tech innovation labs
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation frameworks
