Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends
- Secure and manage $5M+ annual innovation budgets
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite and venture partners
- Build cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and engineers
- File 10+ patents annually for novel technological solutions
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on future-proofing their tech stacks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in R&D leadership with 5+ in emerging tech
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and machine learning
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Experience with federal grant applications (DARPA, NSF)
- Strong network with academic and industry innovators
- Certified in sustainable technology frameworks (ISO 14006)
