Responsibilities
- Lead cross-disciplinary research initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Develop and publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Translate theoretical innovations into functional prototypes with commercial potential
- Secure $1M+ in annual research funding through government grants and industry partnerships
- Mentor a team of 5-7 postdoctoral researchers and interns
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure research aligns with market needs
- Represent InnovateX at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or related field with 5+ years of research experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience securing federal grants (NSF, DARPA) or corporate R&D funding
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-year research projects
- Strong portfolio of commercialized research or patents
