Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives from concept to market-ready solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology forecasting for long-term planning
- Manage R&D budget allocation and resource optimization for innovation projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least two major technological innovations
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, blockchain, biotech
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with systems-level perspective
- Strong executive communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and technology roadmapping frameworks
- Certifications in innovation management or technology strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, IFTF)
