Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to anticipate industry shifts
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and influence technology investment decisions
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Establish KPIs to measure impact of future technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully launching emerging technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong business acumen with experience in P&L management and ROI modeling
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Experience building and leading high-performing technical teams
