This role demands a blend of technical acumen, strategic foresight, and entrepreneurial drive to transform emerging concepts into market-defining realities.
As a pivotal member of our R&D division, you'll spearhead initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech ecosystems. You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, startup founders, and industry disruptors to create roadmaps that redefine human-machine interaction and solve global challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum AI, neurotech, climate engineering)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT/Stanford research partners
- Identify and vet disruptive startups for strategic acquisition/partnerships
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot projects
- Author white papers on future tech societal impacts
- Build and lead a team of futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/Nature/Forbes
- Patent portfolio in future technologies
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnerships
