Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (2026-2030 horizon)
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing and AI governance
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive tech trends and patent opportunities
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and biotech applications
- Partner with VCs to identify next-generation startups for acquisition
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ R&D portfolio for experimental tech incubation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in quantum/AI system implementation
- Deep expertise in blockchain consensus mechanisms and DeFi protocols
- Published research in IEEE or Nature on future tech trends
- Experience with EU AI Act and global tech regulatory frameworks
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Rust preferred)
- Strong network with DARPA, NASA, or similar innovation ecosystems
