Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of emerging technologies (quantum, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies and investment proposals
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and adoption readiness for next-gen solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Present technology vision to executive stakeholders and investor communities with compelling narratives
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks ensuring responsible deployment of transformative technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech foresight or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies or digital transformation programs
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence with published thought leadership
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from World Future Society or equivalent)
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for experimental technology initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentations to Fortune 500 audiences
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field; PhD preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating technology roadmaps successfully implemented 3-5 years prior
