Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in emerging fields like quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and carbon-negative tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 R&D divisions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological curiosity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into viable business models
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, or biotechnology
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, design, and business domains
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management and executive presentations
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology futures or innovation strategy
