Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI neural networks) with 5+ year market impact
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across enterprise operations
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
- Represent the company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor a team of 4-5 futurist researchers and technical architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals (e.g., Nature Technology)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international partnerships
