Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, neurotech, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead R&D partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite investors and board members
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI and autonomous systems
- Coordinate prototype development for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Forecast regulatory impacts and compliance requirements for future tech
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS)
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption
- Proficiency in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
