Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for financial and defense sectors
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for machine learning applications
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Mentor a team of quantum research scientists and hardware engineers
- Present breakthrough findings at global quantum computing symposiums
- Drive patent development in quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years building scalable quantum systems with >100 qubit coherence
- Expertise in quantum circuit design using Qiskit or Cirq frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware optimization techniques
- Security clearance for government quantum projects (preferred)
