Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) through 2026+
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and competitive positioning
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to align innovation initiatives with business objectives
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities with startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force focused on 2026 technology milestones
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends with proven ability to forecast market impacts
- Track record of launching technology initiatives that generated measurable business value
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience building and managing high-performing innovation teams
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and venture capital community
