Responsibilities
- Develop 3-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Analyze emerging tech patents and market signals to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-viable solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout acquisition targets
- Drive innovation sprints with DARPA and NASA collaborators
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and their strategic implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (show 2020-2025 predictions)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Clearance for federal innovation programs (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in Python and TensorFlow for trend modeling
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
