Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global market trends and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive R&D investment allocation based on future impact assessments
- Mentor junior researchers in next-gen technology methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching future-tech initiatives (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech convergence patterns
- Exceptional data modeling skills for technology forecasting
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Global regulatory landscape expertise for emerging technologies
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-tech projects
