Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and consumer behavior shifts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with potential to disrupt our industry by 2026
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and implementation strategies to C-suite and board members
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging tech deployment and adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products or services
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Deep understanding of technology adoption curves and market inflection points
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTE)
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams of 15+ technical specialists
- Prior success securing $3M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Published thought leadership on technology evolution (whitepapers/talks)
