Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI, Web3) for strategic implementation
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and R&D teams
- Build partnerships with startups, research institutions, and technology vendors
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory developments in future tech
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology roles at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products/services
- Strong financial modeling and ROI analysis capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Certification in Strategic Innovation Management or similar (e.g., from MIT, Stanford)
