Responsibilities
- Develop long-term technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and sustainability goals
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, biotech integration) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging hardware, software, and biological systems
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and investors with data-driven ROI projections
- Partner with policy advisors to shape regulatory frameworks for next-gen tech deployment
- Mentor innovation teams in agile prototyping of 2026-relevant solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D leadership
- Proven track record launching products with 5+ year market impact cycles
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotechnology
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published research on technological convergence or exponential growth patterns
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Portfolio demonstrating technology roadmaps successfully implemented
