Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030 horizon) and assess market readiness for adoption
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology foresight reports and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Design frameworks for ethical technology implementation and sustainable innovation
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proofing product development pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology evaluation (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of ethical technology frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and innovation communities
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., Foresight Practitioner) preferred
