Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives bridging R&D, product, and commercial teams
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with startups, research institutions, and technology pioneers
- Monitor competitive landscape and disruptor threats in relevant sectors
- Create frameworks for technology adoption and implementation risk assessment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and executing technology transformation strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Strong network within technology innovation ecosystems and venture capital
- Certification in strategic foresight, innovation management, or equivalent preferred
