Our San Francisco headquarters offers unparalleled resources for experimentation and prototyping, including a quantum lab and immersive AR/VR development space. This position reports directly to our Chief Innovation Officer and includes executive stakeholder engagement with Fortune 500 partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology adoption strategies across quantum computing, AI ethics, and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists through product development cycles
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and KPI reporting
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, AI Decoded)
- Maintain competitive intelligence through patent analysis and academic collaboration
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or biotech integration
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or corporate innovation funding
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and technology forecasting models
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for international stakeholder engagement
