- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for R&D acceleration
- Present technology forecasts to executive board with data-driven ROI projections
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
- Coordinate with product teams to integrate future tech capabilities into development pipelines
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on innovation strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech adoption cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology Management
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization (minimum 3 case studies)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTE, CFTe)
- Proficiency in technology impact assessment frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Experience scaling tech innovation in enterprise environments ($1B+ revenue)
