- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, Web3) and assess market readiness for 2026 adoption
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with 3-5 year strategic plans aligned with business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and integration pathways
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technology ROI and adoption impact across departments
- Represent the company at global tech forums and build strategic partnerships with research institutions
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends and their societal implications
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget for pilot projects and technology acquisitions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful future-tech initiatives (AI/ML, blockchain, quantum)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and market trend analysis
- Certification in Agile/Scrum and technology portfolio management (e.g., TOGAF)
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE/ACM publications)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Java preferred)
