Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology strategy aligned with company vision and market forecasts
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities and future-proof business models
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives with data-driven insights
- Establish partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting future business landscapes
- Mentor R&D teams on future-focused technology integration and adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking, Technology Foresight, or Innovation Strategy preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive decision-making
- Portfolio demonstrating technology strategy implementations with measurable impact
