Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to executive leadership and board members
- Build and manage a global network of futurists and academic partnerships
- Drive R&D investment allocation based on long-term technology viability
- Anticipate geopolitical and regulatory impacts on future tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or equivalent futurist role
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Exceptional strategic communication with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
- Experience leading cross-cultural, remote innovation teams
