Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology roadmap aligning with 2026 market projections and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating breakthrough technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, biotech integration)
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors with ROI projections and implementation timelines
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and tech incubators for collaborative R&D
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory changes affecting innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists and build an internal innovation pipeline
- Report quarterly on technology adoption metrics and strategic KPIs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused initiatives (e.g., AI adoption, quantum computing projects)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, and sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
- Certifications in strategic planning (e.g., TOGAF, PMI-SP) or technology management
