Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead emerging technology assessments (quantum, bio-AI, decentralized systems) and integration feasibility studies
- Collaborate with C-suite to position company as industry thought leader in future tech verticals
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and commercial teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging technology domains
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on future tech opportunities
- Build and lead a specialized future technology incubation team
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three future tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Track record of scaling technology ventures from concept to commercialization
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
