Responsibilities
- Lead development of 2026 technology strategy roadmap, identifying emerging trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Conduct horizon scanning to assess viability of breakthrough technologies for commercial application
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with business objectives and market opportunities
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation practices
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and investor groups
- Manage cross-functional teams in executing pilot programs for emerging technologies
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning company as industry futurist
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in implementing emerging tech solutions (blockchain, IoT, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex technical concepts
- Certification in technology management (e.g., CTO, TOGAF) preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
