Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy roadmap aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and neuro-technology integration
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential through market analysis and academic partnerships
- Collaborate with product teams to translate strategic insights into scalable technical roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and manage an external innovation network including startups, academia, and venture capital firms
- Oversee technology due diligence for M&A opportunities in emerging sectors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum, AI, or biotech)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services at scale
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies and technology adoption curves
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, scenario planning)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with blockchain, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology a plus
