Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to develop breakthrough technologies for 2026 market readiness
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging tech trends and competitive threats
- Architect 10-year technology roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs and ESG frameworks
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Partner with MIT and Stanford on joint innovation projects
- Drive patent strategy targeting 50+ filings by 2025
- Mentor next-gen engineers in our Future Tech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (or equivalent experience)
- Published research in Nature/Science with 10k+ citations
- Track record of launching products generating $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in quantum computing, AGI safety, or climate tech
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Validated ability to secure government grants and private funding
