Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational vision
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence) with transformative potential
- Champion human-centered innovation frameworks to ensure technological solutions address evolving societal needs
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives spanning AI ethics, sustainable tech, and neuro-interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and global innovation hubs
- Present technology roadmaps and innovation portfolios to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation architects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-defining technology initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, or neurotech)
- Exceptional executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-functional global teams
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on technology adoption or market disruption
