Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and autonomous systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and innovation opportunities to the Board of Directors
- Manage a $5M annual innovation budget for experimental technology projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in C-suite advisory roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Track record of commercializing breakthrough innovations (patents or successful launches)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with MBA preferred
- Experience in Fortune 500 or scale-up tech environments
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
