Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic vision roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future opportunities and disruptive risks
- Produce forward-looking market analyses and competitive intelligence reports with 5-year projections
- Design innovation frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with R&D to incubate future-facing products and services targeting 2026 market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and lead a dedicated foresight team specializing in long-term trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or futurism with proven 5+ year horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Economics, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, weak signal detection)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies' societal and business implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic initiatives
- Strong network in innovation ecosystems (VCs, research institutions, industry thought leaders)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
