Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic frameworks for adopting breakthrough innovations across business units
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to detect disruptive trends in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and Board of Directors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-focused solutions
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolio success and track ROI on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Experience leading high-impact teams across multiple disciplines
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, or Sciences (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems
