As a key member of our Future Labs division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, Silicon Valley pioneers, and global policy think tanks to build frameworks for exponential technologies. Your work will directly influence product roadmaps, investment decisions, and societal impact initiatives across our portfolio of emerging ventures.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap for Horizon Dynamics' emerging ventures
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, neurotech, AGI) and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and futurists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global megatrends impacting 2026+ markets
- Secure partnerships with leading research institutions and government innovation labs
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and board members with data-backed recommendations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching exponential technology initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, synthetic biology, AGI governance, or spatial computing
- Master's degree in Technology Policy, Systems Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding for visionary projects
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
