The Role:
In this pivotal position, you will bridge the gap between theoretical innovation and practical application. You will oversee the technical roadmap for Project 2026, ensuring our platforms are robust, secure, and ready for the demands of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Lead System Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of complex microservices and distributed systems for the Project 2026 initiative.
- Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and emerging technologies.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership by conducting rigorous code reviews and mentoring junior developers and engineers.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure high availability and low latency across all services.
- Security & Compliance: Establish security protocols and best practices to safeguard sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technologies: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Containerization: Strong expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
- System Design: Deep understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent is a strong plus.
