Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across tech, socio-political, and economic domains to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026
- Develop and publish annual Future Outlook reports with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops that challenge organizational assumptions and foster creative problem-solving
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-oriented solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate future scenarios into product roadmaps, market entry strategies, and investment priorities
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies and sustainable innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of publishing forward-looking insights in industry publications or journals
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis methodologies, and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives influenced by future forecasting
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar institution)
