Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal shifts to identify 2026+ market opportunities
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations for investor and stakeholder communications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or futurism with demonstrated 2026+ impact
- Expertise in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi method, backcasting)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and foresight software
