Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and emerging consumer needs
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable product development initiatives
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of industry experts, academic partners, and startup innovators
- Present executive-level strategic briefings and influence decision-making with data-driven scenarios
- Oversee the implementation of innovation pilot programs and measure their market impact
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Strategic Foresight, Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and executing technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous, high-impact initiatives
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem and academic institutions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Copenhagen Institute) highly desirable
