Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging trends, technologies, and socio-economic shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight insights into tangible product development initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership through compelling data visualizations and stakeholder narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Conduct deep-dive analyses of disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops that cross-pollinate ideas across departments
- Author forward-looking thought leadership publications and industry white papers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend intelligence platforms (Gartner, Forrester)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex concepts into executive-level narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in tech, healthcare, or sustainability sectors
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, books, or industry reports)
- Strong network within futurist communities (Association of Professional Futurists, World Future Society)
